Privacy Notice

Version: privacy-2026-07-26 · Effective July 26, 2026

This notice explains the information used to operate, secure, and improve Cluena.

What is collected

Cluena stores your account details, password hash, login and activity times, saved prospects, lists, tags, notes, contact research, review decisions, and support activity. It may also record session details, IP address, browser information, exports, and your acceptance of the current legal terms.

How it is used

This information is used to provide your workspace, preserve your research, authenticate users, secure and support the service, investigate misuse, understand product performance, and improve matching, attribution, and workflow design. Improvement analysis uses aggregated or de-identified information where practical.

Who may see it

Your workspace is tied to your account. An authorized Cluena administrator may access it when necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, or support the service. Information may also be shared with service providers needed to run Cluena, when required by law, or to protect rights and safety. Cluena does not sell account information.

Public records

Cluena also displays public or otherwise authorized source records. Those records are separate from information you enter. Suggested identities and relationships are research candidates and may be incorrect.

Retention, security, and your choices

Information is retained for legitimate service, security, evaluation, backup, and legal needs. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no system is completely secure. Do not put highly sensitive information in workspace notes. You may stop using Cluena or request correction or deletion of account information by contacting Cluena, subject to legitimate retention requirements.

Changes and contact

Material changes will be presented for renewed acceptance. Questions or requests may be directed to hello@cluena.com.
